The project consortium will actively promote and share its research outcomes through high-quality scientific publications. At least eight articles are expected to be published in Scopus-indexed peer-reviewed journals, alongside a dedicated special issue in an international journal. Through these activities, the project will reach academic, industrial, and societal audiences, maximizing the visibility and long-term impact of its results.

The Core Phytoplankton Index (CPI) and its eDNA hybrid to assess the water quality of hypersaline lakes in Cyprus

The paper was recently published in Ecological Informatics (IF=8.5) and is part of our work in WP3 on developing eDNA-based indicators of water quality. For this, we developed a WFD-based index with an eDNA component to assess saline lakes’ water quality, which is done for the first time.
